Your Data Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, data protection law (the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR) gives you rights over your personal data. This page explains them and how to use them with 97FX. The Privacy Policy describes what we hold and why.

Your rights

• Access – ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction – ask us to fix data that is wrong or incomplete. You can change your name and settings yourself in your account.
• Deletion – ask us to delete your data. We will, except for what we must keep by law (for example payment records) or need in order to show what was agreed.
• Restriction – ask us to stop using your data while a question about it is resolved.
• Objection – object to our using your data on the basis of legitimate interest, including for marketing. We always stop marketing when asked.
• Portability – ask for the data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format.
• Withdrawing consent – where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
• Automated decisions – we do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

How to use your rights

Email Info@97FX.com from the address on your account and tell us which right you want to use. We may ask for information to confirm it is you. We reply within one month; if a request is complex we may take up to two more months and will tell you why. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority: the data protection authority in your country.
