Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This page lists the cookies 97FX uses. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not let other companies track you across websites.
Cookies we set
- 97fx_session – keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in and removed when you sign out or the session ends. Essential: the service cannot work without it.
- 97fx_device_id – recognises the device you sign in from, so that your sign-in history can show it and unusual sign-ins can be spotted. Essential for security.
- 97fx_visitor_id – a random identifier used to count visits to our public pages and measure how long pages are viewed. Analytics: not essential.
Cookies set by others
- Cloudflare Turnstile – our sign-up and free-tool forms use Cloudflare's bot check, which may set a cookie to tell people from automated traffic. Essential for security.
- Stripe – when you go to the Stripe checkout or billing page, Stripe sets its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
Storage in your browser
If you use the free max pain calculator, the link we emailed you is remembered in your browser's local storage so the calculator stays unlocked on that device.
